Dental suction & compressed air systems

The utility side of a dental practice — specified, installed, balanced and maintained.

Suction and compressed air are the two systems a dental practice cannot work without, and the two most often sized by guesswork. We design, install and service aspiration and compressed air systems for single surgeries and multi-surgery practices.

That includes wet and dry suction units, central vacuum plant, amalgam separators, oil-free compressors, dryers, filtration and the pipework between them — plus the testing that proves the system performs as specified.

What is included

  • Sizing calculation for the number of chairs and equipment in use
  • Wet and dry suction system design and installation
  • Central suction plant for multi-surgery practices
  • Amalgam separator specification and installation
  • Oil-free compressor, dryer and filtration installation
  • Performance testing and balancing of the system

How we work

  1. 01

    Review

We look at the chairs, equipment and existing plant, and what is not keeping up.

  2. 02

    Design

Equipment sizing, pipe routes and separation requirements set out in writing.

  3. 03

    Install

Plant and pipework installed with minimal disruption to the practice.

  4. 04

    Prove it

Vacuum and pressure tested at the farthest point, with results recorded.

Questions

Usually yes. Weak suction at the furthest point is normally a sizing, pipework or separator restriction problem rather than a failed motor. We measure at the chair and work back from there.
