Terms of sale & service

1. Quotations

Prices shown on this website are indicative. All equipment is quoted individually because delivery, installation, pipework and commissioning depend on the practice. Written quotations are valid for 30 days unless stated otherwise and are subject to a site survey where one is required.

2. Orders and payment

An order is accepted when we confirm it in writing. Unless agreed otherwise, equipment is supplied against a deposit with the balance due before delivery or on completion of installation. Service and repair work is invoiced on completion.

3. Delivery and installation

Delivery dates are given in good faith and depend on manufacturer lead times. Installation requires safe access, a suitable power supply and — where relevant — drainage and compressed air connections prepared to the specification we agree. Delays caused by site conditions are chargeable at our standard rates.

4. Warranty

Dürr Dental equipment is supplied with a 12-month warranty as standard, which can be extended by a further 2 years when the extension is requested with the order. Cattani equipment carries the manufacturer's 3-year warranty, extendable to 5 years when ordered with the unit. In addition, we give our own 12-month warranty on installation and workmanship, unless stated otherwise in the quotation.

The warranty does not cover consumables, damage, misuse, water quality or interference by third parties.

5. Service and repair

Repair work is carried out on the basis of the diagnosis and quotation you approve. Where a fault cannot be confirmed until a unit is dismantled, we will tell you before incurring extra cost. Parts supplied carry the manufacturer's warranty.

6. Liability

We are liable for direct loss caused by our negligence or breach of contract. We are not liable for loss of profit, loss of appointments or other indirect losses. Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.

7. Cancellation

Orders for equipment supplied to a business may be cancelled before dispatch; any costs already incurred with the manufacturer or supplier are chargeable. Service visits cancelled with less than 24 hours' notice may be charged.

8. Governing law

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction.
