About this equipment
The AC 100 is the smallest of Cattani's Air Care oil-free compressors, intended for a single dental unit. Oil-free compression matters in dentistry: no oil carry-over into the air lines, and no oil to top up or dispose of.
Cattani builds four-stage filtration into the Air Care range to deliver clean, dry air to the chair, with an optional HEPA H14 filter where the clinic requires it.
The range comes in versions: with or without an air dryer, and with or without a cover. The covered (Q) version houses the dryer and takes the edge off the noise, which is what most practices choose when the plant sits in a cupboard near the surgery.
For a single-surgery practice this is usually the sensible starting point. For two or more chairs, the AC 200 and AC 300 cover the demand with the same service philosophy.

Installation & service
- Air quality is decided by the whole system — compressor, dryer, filtration and pipework. We check all four at installation.
- Drain the receiver and service the filters annually; we do this as part of a maintenance visit.
