About this equipment
The AC 200 is the two-cylinder Air Care compressor, sized for two dental units. It is the model most practices move to when a second chair is added and the original single-cylinder machine starts running continuously.
As with the rest of the range it is oil-free, with a 30 litre receiver and four-stage filtration to deliver dry, clean air to the chairs. Available in 230 V single-phase or 400 V three-phase versions, with a covered and dried cabinet version for plant rooms.
Cattani positions this size for around two surgeries running together. If your list is heavier than that — air-driven scalers on every chair, surgical handpieces, a laboratory — the AC 300 or AC 400 is the honest answer rather than running the AC 200 flat out.
We size the air supply on units and handpieces in use, not just the number of chairs — a surgery with air-driven scalers and a high-speed handpiece per chair draws more than a two-chair estimate suggests.
