About this equipment
The AC 400 uses two compressor heads on a single 100 litre receiver, which is how Cattani covers four to five dental units without moving to a full central plant.
Two heads mean the compressor can meet peak demand with less run time, and the larger receiver smooths out the pressure dips that show up as sluggish handpieces when a practice adds chairs.
Available as a single-phase or three-phase unit, with or without cover and dryer (Q versions).

Installation & service
- At this size the plant is usually better located outside the clinical area — we advise on siting and ventilation.
