Cattani Turbo-Smart A

Turbo-Smart A is Cattani's aspirator for two surgeries, and the same hardware can be enabled for four, so a practice that expects to grow does not have to replace the plant when it adds chairs.

The variable-speed motor responds to demand in real time: it speeds up when suction is being used and slows when the chairs are idle, and it regulates itself according to how many surgeries are drawing on it. That is what keeps suction stable at the chair instead of dropping when a second surgery starts.

Monitoring is built in. A digital display shows the amalgam container fill level, temperature and running hours, and the Cattani SmartApp gives the same information (status, alerts, maintenance schedules) from a phone.

Every unit comes with a silencer and an installation kit as standard. The range is TÜV certified with 98.1% amalgam retention, and a soundproof cabinet is available where noise is critical — bringing running noise down to around 51.6 dB(A).

It sits between the compact Micro-Smart and a central suction plant: more capacity than a single-surgery unit, without the footprint of a multi-unit installation. As with all Cattani units we supply, we size the pipework to suit it — the most common cause of disappointing suction at the chair is pipework that was sized for the previous machine.
