About this equipment
The VSA 600 is the two-surgery member of Dürr Dental's VSA family. It combines vacuum generation, wet separation and amalgam collection in one unit, mounted on wall or floor brackets, and is sized for two surgeries working at the same time.
Because suction and separation sit in the same housing, a two-chair practice does not need a separate suction machine and amalgam separator, and there is one unit to service instead of two. Dürr rates the unit for quiet running, which matters when the plant is in or next to a clinical room.
For practices adding a second chair it is usually the cheaper route than two separate single-surgery units: one set of connections, one serviceable unit, one amalgam collector to manage. Installation is permanent — fixed wiring, suction and exhaust air connections, waste water to drain and a separation check at commissioning.

Installation & service

- Brackets, fittings and the exhaust route are specified at survey; the unit is not a plug-and-play appliance.
